Natsuru is alive!

Okay, so it's probably been noticed but there hasn't been an update to Natsuru Roshutsu for months at this point.

I just want to clarify the game development is not dead, but I wanted to bring everyone up to speed with what's been happening lately.

Firstly, I want to thank everyone who's been supporting this game, whether that be in the discord server, the socials or with the Patreon. It's been incredible the response to a project that basically started as a passion project for me and I want more than anything to see it to its end.

Secondly, and the reason its been going at a snails pace lately is my situation. I'm essentially jobless and whilst I'm fine with my living situation at the moment, I am battling a fairly large chunk of debt and have been focusing on working freelance jobs/commission gigs whilst hunting for a job at the same time. Thanks to Covid, the job hunt hasn't been going great...

Now this isn't a plea for help or a cheeky ask for a sudden windfall in donations. Things are still kind of maneagable at this point, though it does bring me onto the next few points.

Even with my situation being as tight as it is, I still could have been more frequent with my updates. Being kept in the dark with a project you follow is frustrating, having experienced that as a consumer of media plenty of times myself. That's one of the main things I want to work on and I will try hard with. I have ADHD so I won't make any promises I don't trust myself to keep but I'll try as hard as I can!

Next, I want to talk about what kind of updates I can provide. Up until now, I've been hesistant at revealing too much about the game in fear of it being too spoilery. However, what do you guys think?
Putting aside the lack of updates, there has been a fair bit done to the game but none of which was posted just because I felt it might reveal too much and lose the element of surprise, but if you guys prefer it, I can start posting the upcoming stuff with the added benefit of additional creative input from the fanbase, something that sounds like it could be fun.

Lastly, I mentioned earlier that I've been doing commission work. Granted, working on commissions takes time away from working on the game itself, but if I can get myself out of this sinkhole I've landed myself in, I can go back to working on the game full-time, which would be incredible for me.
So I'm going to open up commissions for the Natsuru Roshutsu community, with details to come asap. I'm usually not fussed about what needs to be drawn, and it can include the Natsuru Roshutsu characters too if you so wish. Keep an eye out on the socials for the details and speaking of which:

*A side note for the Patreon, I try and post as many free posts as possible. Game releases will be Patreon-only for a week before it goes free and public. Certain NSFW artwork may be Patreon-only as required by Patreon's T&Cs or available on Gumroad for individual purchase.

TL;DR: I'm poor and trying hard not to be but it slowed down NatRos development a lot. Game isn't dead. Send help?
